With throngs of Jersey Shore wanna-bes and RIPTA-terrorizing teens tormenting Scarborough Beach, your best bet is to head straight to Narragansett Town Beach. We don't know how much Gubna Chafee will have you pay to park there this year (wait, we'll Google it . . . $10 weekdays, $15 on week-ends — just buy the $50 seasonal pass and get it over with), but that isn't stopping the 10,000 or so patrons visiting each day during the summer rush. There are acceptable rest-room facilities at their renovated pavilions, and decent enough fryolator eats on the premises. Relax, we dare ya. Open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day (admission $6, season passes $25 adults, $10 ages 12-17).
