Brown Sugar Café
On the outskirts of Boston University, just before you get to the bowels of the Brighton Street strip, is a nondescript wooden-paneled restaurant with a small door. Inside, the place is not much larger, but if there was ever a collegiate hole-in-the-wall worth traveling for, it would be Brown Sugar Café. If you do make it all the way to a dessert course, look for the strange abomination that is fried ice cream, topped off with honey in lieu of chocolate sauce. Oh, and if you want to see the place really light up, tell them it's your birthday.
