A Davis Square institution, REDBONES knows not to mess with success. From the open kitchen and old (or are they "vintage" by now?) Formica tables upstairs to the brightly painted murals of the low-lit downstairs, it's entirely possible they haven't moved a thing since opening day in 1987 — besides thousands of pounds of meat, that is. Five styles of slow-smoked ribs and four house-made sauces keep diners coming back to try the nearly infinite (okay, 20) combinations, with mason-jar margaritas and 24 rotating microbrews to help them happily wash it all down.
